Before & After Imagery
Common Questions:
The presets are making my images darker or brighter. What should I do?
If you seeing that the presets are making your images darker or brighter, you can decrease/increase the Exposure to fix this. You can also play around with the Highlights, Whites, Shadows, & Blacks slider.
Skin tone looks darker or brighter. What should I do?
To control skin tone saturation, you can go to Mix > Orange > Saturation > and then increase/decrease the saturation to make the skin tone vibrant/muted depends on your image.
To control the brightness of Skin tone, go to Mix > Orange > Luminance > then increase/decrease the Luminance to make the skin tone brighter/darker depends on your image.
The presets are muting or making all the colors vibrant in my images. What should I do?
Try to play around with the Vibrance and Saturation Slider. Also, keep in mind that the Vibrance Slider will protect skin tone/orange whereas the Saturation slider will affect all the colors in your image. To give a slight boost of color, use the Vibrance slider and to give a strong boost to colors use the Saturation slider.
Why would I buy the presets?
That’s a good question and a lot of people say that you should not buy presets. Well, this is true but only if you are a pro or you have a good understanding of Lightroom. There are a lot of presets to choose from, and it does have a lot of varieties as far as the colors are concerned. The only drawback is they add a bit more brightness to my photos which can be easily fixed using the exposure slider. Thank you!
