Create vintage photo effects with my new free action pack includes 5 free Photoshop actions. These actions will add flares, leaks, and overlay effects to any photo. The leak effect will be soft but you can make them crispy and burned by increasing the contrast. Add a brightness adjustment layer on top of the group and then increase the contrast level to make the flare effect burned out.
These actions can be modified very easily. After running any action, you can edit the Gradient Layer, double click on it, and then choose the color of the flare that you like to add to your photos. The angle of the leak can be changed in the Gradient Layer properties, double-click on the gradient layer, and then change the angle.
You can also change the intensity of the flare. Select the gradient layer and play around with the blend modes. By default, it uses the Screen Blend Mode but you can pick the one that you like. To increase the intensity, I would recommend going for Linear Dodge blend mode.
